Salmon Burger with Swiss Chard, Ginger and Onions

2 Salmon patties

1 head of Swiss Chard (or your favorite green)

1/2 inch chunk of ginger

1/2 onion

1 TBSP Olive oil

1 TBSP Ghee

1/2 cup of Mayonnaise

Dash of hot sauce 


  1. Preheat a large skillet or wok, then add olive oil once heated up. 
  2. Wash greens and separate the leafs from the stems, chop into bit size pieces.  
  3. Peel and chop ginger into small pieces (a little trick, you can use a spoon to peel the ginger).
  4. Chop onion into thin slices.                                                                                                                                           
  5. Sauté ginger and onion until soft. Season with sea salt and fresh ground pepper.
  6. Add stems from the greens to the pan and cook until soft.
  7. While stems are cooking, in a small bowl scoop mayo and hot sauce and stir together.
  8. Preheat a non-stick pan with ghee for salmon.
  9. Once stems are soft add greens.
  10. Add salmon to the hot non-stick pan and cook for 5 minutes a side.
  11. Then enjoy your meal!
